 My name is Brian Coates, I live in Casper Wyoming, and I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for the last 16 years. I started raising rabbit when I started 4-H at 8 years old. I enjoyed the project so much that I continued to raise and show rabbits to this day. In the 24 years of raising and showing rabbits, I raised Netherland Dwarfs, Dutch, Mini Rex, French Lops and Satins. When I started raising the Satin Breed, I fell in love. I now raise Copper Satins and a few Mini Satins, I also help my partner Shaun Smith with his Havanas. Along with having a barn full on rabbits, we also have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, a bird and an aquarium full of fish, our own little zoo!! I am currently working on getting my Registars liscence and hope to become an ARBA Judge soon. When Roger asked me to be a District 1 Rep. I was excited and jumped at the chance to help people in our area of district one with any questions or pointing them in the right direction to get the answers they needed. I look forward to sending Roger reports of District 1 wins and news in our area and helping District 1 members of our area with their questions and concerns.
