 Hi my name is Kathy Tellechea. I am a native of Morrow County. I have lived in Lexington for most of this time. I'm retired and a widow. My eldest son, Jim, lives in Panama and my youngest son, Phillip, lives in Portland. Besides the rabbits I raise doves and Barbados sheep. If I am not busy with the animals you will more then likely find me in my yard tending the many flowers and plants. My darlings are my Annie dog and Miss Dallas which are Australian Cattle Dogs.
KT'S Bunny Barn is co-owned by myself and my neighbor and best friend Pam Renfro. We have been raising and showing mini rex since 2001and are dedicated to improving the quality of the breed. We raise Black, Blue, Broken, Castor, Chinchilla, Himalayan, Otter, Tortoise and White varieties. We are members of the National Mini Rex Breeders Association, Mini Rex Fanciers of the Greater Northwest, Oregon League of Rabbit Breeders, Washington
State Rabbit Breeders Association, Idaho State Rabbit Breeders Association
and The American Rabbit Breeders Association. As representative I would like to inspire
people to stay interested in raising and showing rabbits, it is a great hobby. I feel
it is important to keep communication open between ARBA and District 1 members.

 Hello fellow District One members, my name is Jason Whitehurst, I live in Salem Oregon with my wife Rocio and 8 year old twins Ellen and Robert. I am the Corporate Scheduling Manager for Oregon Cherry Growers where I have worked for 19 years. I have been showing cavies since I was about 15 years old. Over the years I have raised many of the breeds, currently I raise Black Americans, Rocio raises Teddies, Ellen raises White Crested and Robert just goes to the shows to have fun with his friends. In 2006 I received my Cavy Judges license, an opportunity that has allowed me to travel to many places in the district and across the country. I am currently the treasurer for Oregon Cavy Breeders Society and also a Director for the Oregon League of Rabbit and Cavy Breeders.  Hello my name is Mike Misner. I live in Crabtree, Oregon where I grew up.I live on the family farm which has been in the family for over 100 years. I live with my wife Therese of 26 years. We have 2 daughters one in Seattle and one in LA. I have raised Netherland Dwarf rabbits for 30 years as of this year. Throughout the years I have raised all of the dwarf varieties recognized and some that aren't. I have 62 holes for my dwarfs.
Along with the rabbits, we have a few head of hereford cattle, Cochin bantams, and Therese has a dozen laying hens. Also have some cats residing in the barn supposedly to catch mice. I am a member of ARBA, ANDRC, NWNDRC (director), and Fire Mountain NDRC of which I am Secretary/Treasurer, Show Secreatary,Show Committee, and Sweepstake person.
