My name is Aiko Machida and I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I was born and raised in Tokyo, where from childhood I grew up with animals (dogs and cats) in my home. I still live in Tokyo, with my husband and our adorable rabbits (Holland Lops). My first encounter with rabbits was in 2001 when I caught a glimpse of this lovable Holland Lop (buck). From that day forward I have been hooked. I began raising my rabbit with little or no knowledge of the ARBA or rabbit shows, so I decided to take the initiative in learning more about them (characteristics, care, breeding, etc.), which eventually led to making friends from all around the world. I am active at Japanese rabbit shows as an interpreter and table secretary. Through rabbits, I have been able to increase my circle of acquaintances, which I truly value now and forever. Thank you and best regards, Aiko Machida. Contact Me...
Hello from Japan. My name is Sayuri Yamakoshi. I have been breeding Mini Rex
since 2000. I have 80 Mini Rex, 9 Flemish Giants, one American Fuzzy Lop, and one Netherland Dwarf. Since my house is very small, there are rabbits in every room. In almost all the rabbit show performed in Japan, I am proud of having received BOB Mini Rex. Although it is small rabbitry, I want to do my best from now on. I am honored to be chosen as Provincial Representative this time. I will try to tell everyone of the interesting news of Japan. Please get interested in Japan. And please come to Japan.
Good luck everyone. Contact Me...
Hi, I am Julie Ueno, formerly of Washington state. I have been living in Japan nearly 18 years now. I began raising rabbits at 10, and despite a lull of six years, began breeding again here in Japan. I am president of ARBA Japan SC and am heavily involved in all facets of the rabbit industry here. I recently obtained my judge's license, and now hold the distintion of being Japan's first ARBA judge! I currently raise Netherland Dwarfs, Holland Lops, Jersey Woolies and Mini Satins. I look forward to sharing information
between Japanese and American rabbit breeders in my capacity as Japan representative for District One. Contact Me...
