 My name is Randy Cler and I have lived in Wasilla, Alaska for the past 20 years. I am originally from Illinois and moved to Alaska with US Air force. I retired in 1998 after 24 years and now work for the State of Alaska as an Electronics Technician. I started raising rabbits in 1989 and cavies in 2003. I joined the ARBA in 1990. I have raised 16 breeds of rabbits and 8 breeds of cavies over that period of time. I currently hold a Rabbit Judge and Cavy Registrar’s licenses. I currently raise Californian, Holland Lop, Florida White, Satin, and Mini Satin Rabbits. I also raise American, Teddy, White Crested, and Texel Cavies.  Hello, everyone! My name is April Wright, I was born and raised in Alaska. Although I've had
rabbits nearly all my life starting at age 10. My first pedigreed rabbit was a Silver
Marten named "Silver Bells". A friendly stranger, whom I now call a good friend noticed my Silver Marten and asked me if I
would like to start raising and showing them competively. From there I was hooked, I got real
serious with my showing when my mom had 6 Polish shipped in from out of state on my 12th
birthday.
After I'd won a few trophies, I considered going to an ARBA Convention. The same
friend that got me started showing invited my mother and I to go with her and split expenses.
I attended my first Convention in 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. I had the time of my life and I
have been attending every Convention since. I will continue attending as long as I am able. I
decided early on that I wanted to become a judge so I obtained my registerar's licence in
November 2004, I will be working towards my judge's license this coming year. I have raised
many, MANY breeds, but I have stuck with, and returned
to my first loves - Polish and Silver Martens. Now as the Alaska State Representative I promise
